A community church in the heart of Bradley, in the Black Country. Find out more about us below.
Welcome To St Martin's
Please excuse our appearance at the moment!
Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, we're taking this opportunity to refresh and renew our Church website - we hope to get our new one up and running as soon as possible.
For now, our website will host the essential information that you need to know. Our Facebook page is the best place to keep up-to-date with what's going on at St Martin's.
Please also note that all groups run at St Martin's are currently suspended until further notice.
Alpha is a great way to explore the Christian faith. It’s informative, no-pressure, fun & free!
We’re running Alpha online during the Covid-19 restrictions, which means you can join in wherever you are.
Our next Alpha starts on Sunday 6 June, 7.30pm then the rest of the sessions will be Tuesday evenings. Try it for the first session and see what you think. Sign up here! We’d love to hear from you and to meet you on Alpha!
WHO IS ALPHA FOR?
Our Alpha is for all ages & backgrounds and is designed for anyone who is curious. The idea is to explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
See below for a video trailer and an insight into why you might want to join us on Alpha.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll start each week by connecting via Zoom, we’ll watch a video, then discuss together in small online groups – you don’t have to say anything and the only dumb question is the one you didn’t ask…
Hello! I’m Kate and I was licensed as the new vicar of St Martin’s in June 2020. My husband Andy and I are very much looking forward to getting to know the people of Bradley and we’re excited for what God has in store for us as a church, as we seek to live for Him in our community. It’s a strange time to be starting in a new parish with the country under Covid-19 restrictions but the great truth is that no virus keeps Jesus down and our God is not isolating from us! We can continue to trust in God’s promises to be with us and to be our strength.
We are now meeting for worship back in the church building but also streaming the service online, so you’re very welcome to join us in person or from home via the links on our facebook page or our YouTube channel. Don’t forget to bring a mask.
Do get in touch with the St Martin’s team by phone, email and through social media if you have a prayer request or need practical support and someone will be in touch to see if we can help.
