The youngest section of the Brigade for those aged 5 - 7
We are members of St Martin’s church family and take part in lots of fun activities together.
The Martins is the youngest section of the Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade, it is for children in years 1 and 2 (ages 5-7) at school costing 60p per week.
We meet at St Martin’s Church every Friday evening during term time from 6:00pm – 7:15pm.
We share God’s word together by reading stories from the bible, the children are taught all about Jesus and they take part in many crafts and activities.
The children have lots of fun and learn all about God at the same time. We have games towards the end of the evening and finish with prayer.
The Martin's learning about Noah
Earlier in the year, The Martin's held some special sessions down at Loxdale school where they looked at the story of Noah. They took part in activities, learnt all about the story of Noah and sang songs and played games based on the story. To follow this up, The Martin's are looking at Noah in a bit more detail and are holding some more sessions this time at St Martin's Church. It is open to all childen in years 1 and 2 at school and the sessions will take place on Friday 23rd April, 30th April and 7th May from 6:00pm - 7:15pm, we look forward to seeing you there!
